Diana Salles illustrated each of the seasons in 12 modular components that progress in shuffled order.
Seasonal Change is a spot the difference game that progressively challenges your visual recall. The duration of the night adapts to your skill, and at the winter solstice, you are scored by accuracy and average reaction time. The setting begins at the summer solstice on the longest day of the year. Each day gets shorter, and the night gets longer, which makes spotting what is different the next day harder.
This jam was inspired by "Change Blindness" exhibit at the Exploratorium. Psychologists call the phenomenon having difficulty noticing a change after a masking interval, as "change blindness."
